The Society of St. Vincent de Paul in the Philippines is a very active branch of the Society, full of energy and zeal. As the narrator explains, the activity of the Society is always based around love of people in the local community. Volunteers work in their own area, and respond to local needs. The Philippines is made up of over 7,000 islands and its location on the Pacific “Ring of Fire” and close to the equator makes it prone to earthquakes and typhoons. Funded by donations, the SSVP has completed many projects to house the victims of these natural disasters. Learn more in this video!
