Working In Neighborhoods (WIN) empowers people to make informed choices for themselves and their neighborhoods through community building, home ownership, and economic learning. WIN provides programs and services in the following areas: Community Education, Neighborhood Organizing, and Homeownership Preservation.
Through the WIN Economic Learning Campus, WIN offers: financial counseling services, homeownership training, after-school and summer tutoring and enrichment programs for children, and community computer lab and computer training for youth and adults.
More than 3,000 people annually benefit from the services at WIN. Win’s services enable people to maintain home ownership, buy new homes, and rehab homes. They also provide people with strategies for saving on gas and electric bills and provide tutoring, job skills and computer training. More than 500 volunteers assist with WIN activities. WIN is nationally recognized as a leader in Foreclosure prevention.
