Coming in 2014: Famvin eBook Club

In 2014 we’ll be starting a once-a-month eBook series: “Faith of Our Founders”. The series was conceived as a follow-up to the Year of Faith and will focus on the faith and spirituality of St. Vincent de Paul and St. Louise de Marillac. The first issue (free download, .epub or .mobi format) will be available in January 2014.

December 8: Vincentian Family Celebrates the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception

On the feast of the Immaculate Conception, December 8 the Vincentian Family also celebrates these occasions that add to the joy and depth of the day: the canonical establishment of the Confraternity of Charity in 1617, one of the four major feasts chosen by the Society of St. Vincent DePaul in 1834, and, on or near Dec. 8, The Sisters of Charity make an annual devotional renewal of their vows.
