Systemic change is closely linked to “Right to Development”, and challenges us to go beyond the provision of immediate needs, to long term measures that address the root causes of our systemic problems, which promote disrespect for human dignity, lack of equity, discrimination and marginalization. It requires faith, courage, a lot of collaboration, as well as perseverance. It also implies personal conversion, flexibility and openness to change. Very often, in our context, the results are slow to come, but surely, God does reward our little efforts.
