A member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, he was martyred on 9 August 1936 in Spain. After the outbreak of the Spanish Civil in July 1936, Ceferino saw a priest being arrested and spoke up on the priest’s behalf. The soldiers turned on him and he was eventually executed.

Członek Stowarzyszenia św. Wincentego a Paulo umęczony w Hiszpanii 9 sierpnia 1936 r. Po wybuchu Wojny Domowej w Hiszpanii zobaczył aresztowanie jednego księdza i przemówił w jego obronie. Żołnierze zabrali się za niego i ostatecznie dokonali jego egzekucji.

Membro della Società di San Vincenzo de Paoli, è stato martirizzato il 9 agosto 1936 in Spagna. Dopo lo scoppio della guerra civile spagnola nel luglio 1936, Ceferino vide un sacerdote arrestato e parlò a favore del prete. I soldati indispettiti lo giustiziarono.
